Background and pain points
In modern agricultural management, the rational use of water resources and flow control are the key to ensure the effectiveness of irrigation. Traditional flow measurement methods in irrigation districts often face the following pain points:
Large measurement error: Traditional flow meters are susceptible to environmental factors, especially in water bodies with a lot of sediment, and the measurement accuracy is insufficient.
Lag in data transmission: Manual logging or outdated automated systems often cause lag in data updates and fail to provide real-time traffic information.
Frequent maintenance: Conventional flow meters often require cleaning and maintenance, especially in sewage or sediment flow measurements, which can be costly to maintain.
Complex operation: The operation and setting of some traditional flowmeters are complex, requiring professional adjustment and maintenance, which increases the difficulty of management.

Overview & Architecture
Hangzheng Technology's radar flowmeter uses advanced radar technology to measure water flow in a non-contact way, with the characteristics of high precision, high reliability and low maintenance. The monitoring scheme is structured as follows:
Radar Flow Meter Equipment: Installed in the key water flow channels of the irrigation district, the water flow is accurately measured by radar technology.
Data transmission system: The flowmeter transmits the collected data to the data management platform in real time through a wireless network or wired network.
Data analysis platform: The data management platform processes and analyzes the transmitted data in real time to support irrigation decisions.
Real-time monitoring and alarm system: The monitoring system can display water flow information in real time and send out an alarm when the flow is abnormal, so as to ensure the stable operation of the irrigation area.
Features & Benefits
High-precision non-contact measurement: The radar flowmeter adopts non-contact measurement, which avoids the measurement error caused by sediment, dirt and other factors in the traditional method and ensures high-precision data acquisition.
Real-time data transmission: The equipment has high-frequency data transmission capabilities, which can provide real-time flow information, making water resource management more timely and effective.
Low maintenance requirements: Due to the use of non-contact technology, the radar flowmeter is not susceptible to environmental pollution during use, and the maintenance frequency is low, which reduces the cost of manual maintenance.
Intelligent data analysis: The supporting data analysis platform can conduct in-depth analysis of the collected data, provide traffic trend prediction, anomaly detection and other functions to assist in optimizing irrigation management.
