Background and pain points
With the acceleration of urbanization, urban drainage networks are facing an increasing load, requiring improvements in real-time monitoring and management of drainage networks. The health of drainage networks directly affects the city's drainage capacity and environmental protection, so it is particularly important to accurately monitor parameters such as flow and velocity of the network.
Difficulty in flow monitoring: Traditional flow meters have difficulty providing accurate flow data in full and part-full pipe conditions.
Data acquisition delay: The real-time data transmission and processing speed of traditional equipment is slow, which affects decision-making efficiency.
Complex maintenance: Some flow meters have high maintenance costs and strict requirements on the installation environment, which increases the difficulty of operation and maintenance.
Information isolation: Various types of monitoring data are difficult to integrate, and there is a lack of effective data analysis and comprehensive decision-making support.

Overview and Architecture
The radar ultrasonic multifunctional flow meter system provided by Hangzheng Company can accurately measure the flow and velocity in the drainage network, regardless of whether the pipe is full or not. The system combines radar and ultrasonic technology to provide high-precision, real-time data support to optimize the monitoring and management of urban drainage networks.
Data collection layer: Radar ultrasonic multi-function flow meters are installed at key locations of the drainage network to collect flow and velocity data in real time.
Data transmission layer: Use wireless or wired communication technology to transmit the collected data to the data processing center.
Data processing layer: Process and analyze transmitted data in real time, generate reports and trend forecasts.
Control and management level: Centrally manage and control the operation of the drainage network, and provide scheduling and early warning functions.
User interface layer: provides operators with an interface for viewing real-time data, historical data and setting monitoring parameters, and supports alarm and early warning functions.
Features and Benefits
Flow and velocity monitoring: Radar ultrasonic multi-function flowmeters can accurately measure flow and velocity in a variety of pipe conditions (full and partly full pipes).
Real-time data transmission: Ensure the timeliness of real-time monitoring data through an efficient data transmission system.
Data recording and analysis: Record historical data and provide data analysis, trend prediction and anomaly detection functions.
Alarm and warning: Set the upper and lower limits of flow rate and flow velocity. Once the data exceeds the set range, the system will automatically issue an alarm.
Remote Management: Supports remote access and management, allowing operators to monitor and adjust the system from anywhere.
